Open thoughts and Corkey you have pretty much sumed up what I was thinking and it is actually nothing personal against the dems and I think when it comes down to it you will see John Edwards rising in the polls like he actaully is already doing

You have a very valid point. A woman can win, but I do not think that Hillary can. She has shown lately that she is incapable of answering tough questions or criticism. She has also shown that she will use any tactics in her campaign, and keeps getting caught and having to apologize. What she does not see is that the damage is done.

Obama has whitewashed his Muslim background. Though not extensive, he tried to make it non-existent in his book. If it were not a problem...why lie? And if I were running against him, I would simply point out that he has taken off the table the biggest deterrant for attacking the US that we have had for years. When he stated that under no circumstances would he ever resort to the use of nuclear weapons, enemies of the US rejoiced and have been praying to Allah that he wins since that statement was made.

wally...this is what your liberal friends are hoping. You will see either Romney, Tancredo, Thompson or (hopefully not) Huckabee get the nomination. However, no matter who gets the nod on the republican side, the republicans know that the DNC will put forth either Obama or Hillary, and there is not a republican on the ticket that is not hands down better than those two. I would even vote for McCain or Rudy over those two, and either way it is DEFINATELY voting for the lesser of two evils.

Brandon...you can keep hoping about Ron Paul, but he does not stand a chance. You know it, his other 5 supporters know it and ever Ron Paul knows it. He is running to make a statement, not with any intention of winning.

ph...so you are against most democrats, right? They want to silence free speech (see "fairness doctrine"), freedom or religion by treating it as freedom FROM religion, right to bear arms, not to mention taxation without representation. The very idea that we should have everything in our lives socialized (Hillary's famous "It takes a village to raise a child." crap is a sneak peek at her plans)..........so I am glad to see that you will not be voting democrat in 08.

Because people like you,America is DECLINING!
I hope you study the facts to educate yourself. Do you really think or believe that the Republicans or the Democrats care about you at all ?
They're two sides to one single coin & they have one thing in common which is to be elected and they agree & stand for one thing,Reelection and they'll do & say any thing in order to be elected.
"Remember that a politician is like a contraceptive:
He gives you a reasonable feeling of security while you are being screwed"
"The politicians will always be there when THEY need you"
I'll vote for:Bugs Bunny just to be safe.
Former Republican & now I'm Independent.

Yeah I'm expecting a last minute surge out of either Edwards or Biden on the Democrat side. Either way Ron Paul will very likely be the next President.

Personally, I think ALL the candidates, Democrat and Republican alike, suck! I'm 55 years old, and I can't ever remember a sorrier bunch of losers! I think I'm going Green this time around. I don't know who they're running yet, and I don't care. Whoever it is can't help but be better than this scurvy crew!

I don't know if they are electable or not, I worry about it all the time.

Y'know why?

Because the country is being run by a corrupt, dishonest, power hungry political/religious congregation of anti Constitutional gang-rapists.

Obama is not a Muslin. But, his wife has professed herself as an athiest. I think Obama is Methodist or Prespratyian. You can look him up on the internet........I forgot..........but I know that he IS a Christian religion.

Only the dumbest, most ignorant and gullible of saps still believes that Obama, a lifelong Christian who never, even in his childhood, worshipped Islam, is a Muslim.

Quit wasting perfectly good oxygen.

You are so on the mark. This is at their tail end of the 60s hippie (Communist) movement. If they do win this country will never be the same again and those of us who fought Communism will have fought and died for nothing. These people are hateful to the free thinking people and are very dangerous to this world.
