I don't know what has gone wrong with the cursor on my laptop . I assume that's what it's called . It's the blinking line behind the letters you type . I installed a new version of Internet Explorer and ever sinnce I've had problems with this . When I'm typing anything the cursor will jump back to other words in the sentence or paragrawhat was meant to be at the end of the and type there what should be at the end of the sentence or paragraph . It may also disappear all together , or instantly highlight what I'm typing . It takes me 3X as long to finish a paragraph or fill in a form and is extremely frustrating . If anyone could help me with this I would be extremely graeful .

If you are using XP, I suggest that you perform a System Restore to a date before the new version of IE was installed.

go to "control panel" and check your mouse settings. You can change things to slow it down etc this could help
