I'm not sure if you need color or you want color combinations

Need Color and Impact the following add alot a bang for little buck:

- bows
- balls
-ribbon

Color's
- this year the new color is purple/ mauve. Read in a magazine.
- moss green, copper, cranberry
-burgendy and gold
- purple, moss green
-silver and light blue
- red, white and silver
- cream and gold
- silver and purple
-copper and cream and gold
- red, green and white

Note: use the colors in your room that you will be putting your tree in as your starting off point. Go from there. Just if you want big impact make sure you buy your ordaments in sets or 12/24/36. That's what adds impact to your tree is using multiples of somethings not just one ornament here and there.

they would all look really pretty with white lights.

you don't have to stay on a color scheme, though. for example, we have a red and gold tree, but we also picked some of our favorite ornaments (gingerbread men, snowman, baby's first christmas, etc) to also put on it.

you could also do some other things such as using silver garland and doing all disney or precious moments ornaments. also, if you're a big sports fan, use your team's colors. you could also get bows and such to tie onto the tree.

and you don't always have to have an angel on top. my aunt has a big silver bow on top of hers and it looks good.

if you really want to get creative, use gingerbread lights for your lights instead of regular lights. my grandmother has little pieces of candy (fake) stringed and around her tree with gingerbread (fake) on a string around her tree. you may not think it looks nice, but it really does.

there are tons of different things you could do with a tree, make it your own! have a nice christmas!

I think a tree that has only one color of bulbs and muilti-colored ornaments really look nice. Our tree has gold bulbs and silver tinsel. Candy canes and a few ornaments for color. I then placed family members photos in the branches. Muilti-colored lights. It's lovely. Merry Christmas.

I use white lights on my tree. For the decorations, I use gold and burgundy. It turns out looking very luxurious. I love my tree!
