I want to delete Myspace im! I hate that $h!t. It allows pop-ups to come through no matter how many pop-up blockers I have, no virus protector can handle it, it slows down my computer, and freezes it up so bad I have to reboot it. I've deleted it using the control panel a number of times. But my hard-headed @$$ sister keeps putting it back on here. And so today when I went to control panel to remove it it didn't show up. And this computer costs to much to be torn up all because her inconsiderate, selfish, rotten @$$. And if this computer tears up on account of her behalf I swear to the God above I'm gonna swell her whole face wit my dayum fist.I'm very short tempered and hot-headed. Can please tell me a way to delete, an alternative to the control panel? Another thing is there a way I can block it so it can't be installed again?

You should also check for malware as Myspace is notorious for malware infections. The popups may be coming from that. Installing and using Firefox with the NoScript and Adblock addons will kill ALL ads and protect you from driveby downloads of malware.
Suggest you use the two programs below to check for malware.
Download and Install Super Antispyware free. Reboot into Safe mode and Run SAS. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Run the online scan for Bit Defender in normal mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

You could try a alternative uninstaller. I like "My Uninstaller" you can download it from http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/myuninst.html

Now, to stop the downloading thing. The best way that I know of is to open the "User accounts" app in the Control Panel and put a password on the administrator account that only you know. Then create a "limited" account for your sister. Do not give that account any download permissions.

no longer inevitably. From what I understand, homestead windows vista desires to run off of a minimum of two gb of memory on your computing device to run easily. I surely have homestead windows vista too and that i've got 2 gb and that i works wonderful. My mom on the different hand, in basic terms has one gb and hers continually crashes. So i could propose gettin extra memory because of the fact i'm exceedingly effective u have extra advantageous than sufficient room on your difficult force so erasing courses would not be the answer in any respect. U desire extra memory. Defraging your difficult force as quickly as a week or so could help too. desire this allows!

Don't hit your sister. Buy her a PC of her own. I also suggest going to the programs and delete it there. Set up a password so she can't get on the computer. That will really make her mad.

LOL..ok chill a bit

myspace is just account on web server. what you can do is crate an account as administrator, start>contro panel>user accounts. and she will stop bugging you.
second get and install a good AV.

I am assuming that u use windows xp or some earlier version of it.
i believe there must be some start-up programs related to it which starts itself while windows boots. so u have stop it from starting only. go to start menu>run. type 'msconfig' and click ok. a window will appear. go to the tab 'startup'. it will give u the list of programs which starts with windows. look for an entry whose name appears somewhat related to myspace. uncheck the entry. this will stop it from starting while windows boots.

I don't think there is a way to block it from being downloaded and as for deleting it you can go to program files and delete the whole mess from there.
