After the fires in Southern California, there are hydro-seeding the mountains. Huge undertaking. I think it is here to stay. Can't get any "greener" for the environment.

Eventually everything will be hydroseeded because the sod farms will keep getting less all the time. Eventually it will be too expensive to grow sod. Right now a lot of homeowners don't want to dish out a lot of money for sod and are looking for alternatives.
