There are exceptions to every rule, but here are the general preferences:

As I said, there are excpetions to every rule... Good, high qualify vanilla ice cream (like Breyer's) is sometimes nice. Naughty can be fun sometimes. I like movies that are a blend of comedy and drama. While I prefer fact, I would rather read fiction when reading for pleasure.... Etc., etc., etc.

But in general, these are the preferences.
