Depends on the business. Many convenience stores offer free or reduced cost drinks to police officers in uniform.

People feel safer shopping there when the officer is there.

When I was a teenager I worked at White Castles and these cops came to the drive-thru and I got yelled at for trying to charge them so I'm going to say no I wouldn't.

I do plan on owning a skate shop/coffee shop when after im out of tech school.. and I got to tell you, skaters and cops really are like water and oil..

absolutely, its free security, and cops put there lives on the line for us. They take a lot of crap, and get paid shitty wages. I think that we owe them that.

we give them free coffee and half price meals, but they pay regular price for services...
