Lost power due to a ice or snow storm and somehow your house still had power, would you invite the people who have no power to come to your home till they got thier power back?

keepin it real: they would not have power becase the storm casued the power lines to go down, not because of paying or not paying the bill. how silly

Oh wow...this is like a serious conudrum kinda question for me.....in '05 we did have an ice storm here that knocked out the power for over a week. My kids were with my parents, baking cookies and shopping for each other, etc....I was here by myself...I lasted three days/four nights and then finally on Christmas Eve morning I called my dad and begged him to come rescue me, I couldn't take it anymore.
Four houses around me had generators and they knew I was here by myself....I called all four neighbors and asked if one of the guys could come shovel me out so I could get to my parents house myself....they said no....they had to take care of things at their own houses....
I was so devastated and hurt....thinking wow...what selfish people I have for neighbors...it really makes you wonder about that human spirit...and it was freaking Christmas time......
Its something I need to let go...because I would let them come here, each one of them although they didn't have enough decency to help me out, I'd still help them....

That would be hard for me to do, cause I live in an apartment complex. But yes, if I lived in a house, I would try my best to do just that. I would only be able to fit so many though. But yes, that is what God would want me to do. And I believe in God and Jesus. That would his will. God Bless and Let's hope that don't happen. lol

Probably not, since we really don't know our neighbors that well.
