Allright. Peyton Manning has always had his receivers. Brady never had a great receiver until ths year and now he's showing how good a qb can be with great wr's. Manning chokes in the playoffs. Brady doesn't. Here's what I mean. Manning threw 3tds and 7ints on the road to the superbowl while Brady threw 1td and 1int in his first superbowl, 4tds and 2ints in his second superbowl and 5tds and ZERO picks in his 3rd superbowl. Than when Manning doesn't make the superbowl they say it's his defense. YEa RIGHT! If it's his defense then why does he choke? Brady leads his team to the big games not his defense. He has good number in the playoffs and is a huge factor to New Englands success. While the Colts have to lead Manning to the superbowl and a perfect example was what I just said up there about his td/int ratio. So why do people hate Brady and like Manning more? Brady is obviously better and a whay better team leader than peyton. All that Manning has is season stats. That doesn't mean crap.

Mostly cause Manning is the NFL's golden boy. Despite him always having better talent and a better running game.
Now that Brady has similiar weapons you can see that he is every bit as good and more clutch than Manning.

How convenient.. You ask this question right after Peyton has the worst game in his nfl career. No matter how great a quarterback is, they are capable of having a bad game like this and earlier this season Tony romo(6 turnovers). That being said, I still think Peyton is the best quarterback in the league. You can't say "tom brady is better, look he led his team to 3 super bowls." It's true he did that, but that's because he had the New England Patriots as his team. If Brady had the Indianapolis colts the previous years, I certainly doubt he would have had as much success. Tom brady has the luxury of arguably the best receiver in the nfl. He just randomly throws up a ball in Randy's vicinity and Moss does his magic. It's not because Tom threw it with precision, but it's more because of how good Randy is. ok time to go, enjoy my rant.

Brady is having better stats than Peyton for the first time in 7 years.

Numbers make a QB great, while rings are won as a team. Once Manning had a defense and a kicker who didn't choke, he got a ring. BTW, this kicker made the Pats win their 3 rings and an AFC championship.

And I saw Brady choking the last couple of postseasons. 2 seasons ago when he threw an interception to Champ Bailey in the end zone and was almost returned for a TD. And against the Colts he threw the last interception the killed the Patriots.

Manning has great receivers because he made them great. Harrison was already around when Manning came to the league, but never did anything extraordinary with Jim Harbaugh (decent numbers, not great). He worked with what he had.

Is Brandon Stokley great? No, and Manning made him a 1000 yd-10 TD wideout. Dallas Clark became a top 5 TE this season...thanks to Peyton throwing to him.

And if we talk about a team leader, the Colts are the only team who started 3 straight seasons with a 7-0 record and with another win, they will become the first have 5 straight seasons with at least 12 wins.

Well Peyton's been around a bit longer. Every year, he's shown he's capable of putting up 3,500+ yards and a hefty sum of touchdowns. He's had great receivers at the helm his whole career. Brady, on the other hand, has had one AWESOME year with top-notch receivers. But, would that same success shift over to future years? Everyone seems to think this year is a fluke for NE, plus the whole Spygate thing.

However, 3 super bowls with DEION BRANCH as the second best offensive player on the team? That's gonna get Brady above Manning years on down the road, when both have retired.

So your insinuating that Brady is the sole reason the Pats won the SB? Your insinuating that Manning would not have won 3 rings with the Pats if the rolls were reversed?

Praise Brady all you want...but the NFL is a team game and always has been. One person will not get you to a SB. That is where the Brady/Manning comparisons get so out of whack. Both are great QB's...but it is a pretty safe bet that Manning would have a few rings also as starting QB for the Pats and it is also a pretty safe bet that Brady would be fortunate to have one ring with the Colts.

Brady lovers will never see it that way...but they have never been known to be very logical anyway.

Seasons stats don't mean crap? What a bunch of BS that is. So you are saying if Tom Brady breaks the TD passes in a season record but doesn't win Super Bowl, it means nothing? Am I correct? Both are great QB's. Tom Brady didn't win the Super Bowls by himself. I like both QB's. I think stats are important. Look at Marino's stats, do you think they mean crap because he didn't win a SB? Tom is having a better year this season than Manning but from Tom's first full season 2001 thru last season 2006, Manning has had more td passes, more passing yards, & a better QB rating than Brady except for 2002 Brady had 1 more TD pass than Manning & in 2001 had a slight higher QB rating than Manning. I am a fan of both QB's & both are future HOFer's but to say stats don't mean crap, is a bunch of BS.

Um..Manning is a better QB, there homeskillet. Manning came in on a horrible Colts team and turned around the entire franchise. Brady came in on a good team, but not until Bledsoe got hurt. True, Manning has had better receivers until this year, but Brady;s team has been stacked. Brady didnt have to win games by himself, he had defense, special teams, a solid line..so if you remember correctly, Brady won those first three rings, throwing screen pass after screen pass, and letting the rest of his team carry him. Manning has had to carry the Colts to anything that they have achieved, their defense has been horrible, last year when they won the super bowl, they did it with basically no running back. This question will be debated forever but in my opinion it has been much easier for Brady, due to the team around him.

DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS. NE D has been top of the league for the last 6 or 7 years, give credit to them. Tom Brady never put numbers like Peyton has, though I think Brady is more calm and reads the field better, passing wise? All Peyton

Because he is. Peyton makes the Colts, the Pats make Brady. Get over it.

Peyton is like having a coach on the field...Brady is a superb driver of a great machine who now has been pimped to the max. A very hard thing to do in today's NFL.
