No - college students are messy enough without pets. no one would want to clean up after it if it had an 'accident' in the house. and no one would want to take responsibility for it after it stops being a novelty.

Not in all dorm rooms. I do think that some dorms should allow pets. This dorm should be sxpecially for pet owners only and the owner should be responsible for the pet. THis would prevent problems for occuring such as someone having an allergy. This would also give people who dont want pets a place stay without them.

hmmm

i would say no, because most ppl have a roommate
and they need to respect their roommate's feelings if they don't want pets.

college kids also aren't prepared to look after their pets with all their classes and social events...

you can never tell if a pet is going to turn vicious or not, like a dog could be believed to be tame, but if it turned around and seriously bit someone, the owner could get into a lot of trouble that could have been easily avoidable if there weren't pets in the first place...............

good luck!!!!!

I would say absolutely not. A dorm room is definitely not a suitable place for a pet to be. Because one, the animal can't get enough excise and two, dorms can get pretty "crazy" if you know what I mean and the animal might get hurt.

Some yes, some no. No poisonous snakes, no vicious dogs, in fact any dogs might be a problem, cats...hmm...they could be a distraction too. Goldfish, why not? Birds...hmm, it always seemed kind of cruel to keep a bird in a cage but what else could you do in a dorm? So goldfish and an ant farm might be about it.

Fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, and other quiet small pets should, but dogs, cats- no. Most dorm rooms are so small. It would be unfair to keep those pets contained. They would be barking and meowing for attention when alone and would be disturbing neighbors.

If the animal's owner believes it has that much affect on their learning ability then yes. They should be allowed. But they do spread diseases and make mess, they also smell and other people may dislike the animal or be allergic to it.

Personally, I do not, because dorms are for the most part pretty cramp, and sometime you are not in the dorm room alone, you have a roommate.

No because people are living in close quarters. Many people have allergies and that's one of the main reasons they don't allow animals of any kind.
