I think he will, but the team should be better next season regardless. They've been dealing with a number of injuries this season, which could explain some of their shortcomings, but Cowher is a coach with loads of pride. He will not let his team give up like they have, he will NOT let his team go winless.

I've been a Dolfan since their inception...from the first 5 games you could see that the team and the coach weren't on the same page..the breaker was in sending Chambers away to the coach's old team...I think Cam Cameron will be fired and he'll return to San Diego as either the Offensive coach under Marty Schottenheimer (yes...rehired!) and someone of the players choosing will coach until Bill Cowher's contract is up with Steelers...then total control of the Dolphins will be his.

bill cowher had a solid foundation in pittsburgh when he took over for chuck noll. people forget that. he had great ownership that were committed to building a team & they drafted well too. miami doesn't have that. he would in effect have to start from scratch. i don't know if bill cowher has the patience for a total rebuilding job.
marty schottenheimer might be the guy. he rebuild the cheifs when they sucked & installed a power running game, kept the train moving in cleveland, brought the san diego chargers from the dead. he's the perfect guy. he has the patience & the football knowledge on how to build a team. he will install a power running game, install a veteran coachng staff to help the players, & put in a veteran qb. he doesn't like young qbs. miami will return the ranks of the respectable. as with all marty teams he can't win the big game. how long will miami hang on to him before they get another coach to geth them to the promise land

Somehow or other I see him being the Falcons Coach. Cowher is what the Falcons need.
Miami is in need of a lot of work and they are bring in Parcel as General Manger. There will be a lot of money that needs to go out. Where as the Falcons need to dish out money too but not to the extent of Miami therefore they will be able to afford Cowher.

They could get bill cower, im pretty sure cam cameron will be gone after this year and cower can bring some stability to a struggleing team.
The the dolphins front office is willing to fork over a huge contract for cower then its a good possibilty

I think they should look for Ray Finkle.. He'd be a real inspiration!
Einhorn is Finkle... Finkle is Einhorn... EINHORN IS A MAN!!!...OH MY GOD!! EINHORN IS A MAN!!!
lol.. classic
Really though, YES If Cowher went to the Dolphins he could help them ALOT.. Maybe not a Superbowl team but he could do a better job than Cameron.

If he is given Carter Blanche with the Dolphins, I can see a big solid improvement. Maybe a wildcard playoff in 3 years. For you true Dolphin fans - don't lose hope.

I don't think a coach as successful as Bill Cowher would lower himself down to Miami's level.

I'm not sure even God himself would be able to (or want to for that matter) help the Dolphins win the way they are playing this season...
