Well I work in nursing so we always have to use black. After all these years I feel very awkward even when I try to use blue ink @ home. So I only buy black now. Green would be nice though since its my fave color.

Black Ink is required when you sign documents, papers, do anything with your financial stuff ... So yes, I do use the Black Ink Pens pretty much all of the time. I don't really have any blue ink pens.

pink, purple, turquoise; (the extra fine ink pens); sometimes i use green. but i prefer a regular blue ink pen over a black one, for regular everyday things. I only use red if if am correcting or editing something.

although I used to like aqua colored ink when I used a fountain pen, I would have to choose blue as a personal color for myself, but people were discouraged from using blue in past years because business document signatures wouldn't copy well in the xerox machine (now they do), so black was the recommended color to use in business.
