You can't always control your stress as bodily stress is natural however you can prevent yourself from being in stressful situations. Don't try to do too much work/make too many promises as we're only human and can't fulfill everything that is sometimes expected of us.
Obviously sometimes a lot needs to be done so just organise your time correctly and do everything systematically, get it out the way and then worry about what's next etc. Oh and make sure your you wake up every day fresh and energised from a good night's sleep!

Well, i don't "fight" it, but rather evaluate it, i can tell if things start "getting to me"...Lack of sleep, irritable, inability to focus, sometimes ignored it can affect your body, getting sick easily.
When i notice "my signs", i try and look at not what is just happening now, but in recent past, say 6 months, see if it is still on a back burner, and what is also going on now. then i write things down, what i can do about it realistically, and what i cannot.
Usually it is the "cannots" that are most stressful. Coming to terms with it, and accepting what you cannot do, and feel OK about it, and move on to what you can do something about. It is a balance and check, always. You need to be actively thinking about what is stressing you, or you get caught off guard.

What is the stress induced by?
For daily life, find something that calms you down and slows your mind. The problem with fighting stress is that what works for one person may not work for another. Some people report that yoga and stretching works, some people exercise rigorously to get away from life's stressors, some simple listen to calming music.
It is NOT advised to use any mind altering substance to reduce stress as this can lead to very dangerous and unhealthy habits.
By paying attention to yourself and observing what calms you down and puts you into a serene state of mind, you can find a way to relax.
