Mostly these are people who hate Al Gore - correct? It's all about personalities, not science - right?

Why don't they spend 5 or 10 minutes reading a reputable site like this;

Solar contribution to warming is real but negligible compared to greenhouse effect. Greenland hot spot explains melting of a 500 square mile area under Greenland - not the rest of the world.

I know - the idea that this is a liberal hoax where the only people telling the truth just happen to be on the payroll of extreme right wing thinktanks and Exxon is just ridiculous.
Bear in mind that while the denialists are vocal they by no means represent the view of the majority of conservatives. Indeed they have been marginalized and abandoned by thier own leaders.

Arnold Schwarzenegger

John McCain

I quite enjoyed the poster who pretty much stated, scientists they surely can be right about global warming. However I am sure they will find a way to fix it.

I think those who object to global warming are missing something very important. Who does it benefit (regardless of whether global warming is real or not) to lead a more responsible lifestyle. Global warming aside.. we are trashing our water, our air and depleting our resources. How can that be good? How can we justify destroying the very earth that gives us life. It is no secret that what we have been doing has had a negative impact on our health. So who would in benefit. everybody.

I am not sure why people are so resistant to ideas like buying locally, walk those three blocks, turn of the lights and recycle. To me it is insane not to believe in global warming, but to believe that what we are doing is good for the planet.

Sad? No - tragic! But what would you expect in a country where not even half the high school science teachers understand the workings of science? I have had a high school science teacher try to tell me that Evolution is debatable because "it's only a hunch". Few Americans know the actual definition of a scientific theory - and it's costing us dearly in the world of commerce, as well as elsewhere...

What is really sad is that people DENY the science that debunks the myth of man-made global warming! This madness is going to cost us a lot - our freedoms and our economy, maybe more. Read the article below if you want to open your eyes.

You have the personalities thing all backwards, btw.

people seem to believe its either global warming caused by people or no global warming at all. both seem off to me. global warming is a certainty, but it may not be caused by people, cow farts or whatever. its likely to be caused by many factors all contributing to it but still we all need to try and slow it down and minimize the effects. we need to get along and work together instead of fighting, arguing and trying to have the power to control others.

I haven't seen many people deny the existence of global warming...what I have seen is an argument over the cause.

Even if global warming is real(which i do not believe) science will find the technology to fix any problem the earth would have warming.

I have read many reputable studies. I don't like Al for many more reasons than his scare tactics. Really look at the evidence and the science and you will not be so convinced.

It is sad how so many have been duped into believing man can shape the weather patterns for the whole planet. Those who blindly believe in voodoo man made global warming are the pathetic and ignorant ones. This issue is designed to bilk wealthy nations out of money and resources to strengthen others and line the pockets of crooked scientists and politicians.

I hate questions like this!! Why cant we just say we agree to disagree! There are no "proven concrete facts" about global warming just as there are no "proven concrete facts" that it does not exsist. If you want to mindlessly follow and believe your Big ALs greenie dogma and his attempt to "blackmail" the rest of the world into believing his unproven and mostly debunked "suggestion" of global warming be my guest. Go ahead! Im sure Big Al loves all the adulation and monetary support you can throw his way!! Big Al loves GREEN!
