Quite frankly...both are equally important to the development of children. They definitly need interaction with other children so that they can learn to socialize & get along with others their own age (how to share, compromise, etc). But spending time with adults is just as important to help them learn about about life & build memories & techniques that will help them throughout the rest of their lives. They need to learn to trust adults & have somewhere there to guide them along the way.

Both are necessary and important to kid's socialization ... Children have fun and make frienships when they play with other kids and they learn things from adults...

I think interaction with other children is more important because they learn the social graces of being among peers.

Both, they are equally important.
With other kids so they can learn the ins and outs of social relationships with peers.
With adults to learn many other things such as trust and bonding.

you don't know other kids so maybe you should think about whether it's important for them to pick the behaviour from other kids up
but interaction with adults get them more mature while other children get them to have more childplay

As a kid, I could help you with this. If you're a parent, kids love for you to give them TLC and attention- "Great, grades, Sue!" or "Nice Catch, Tommy!" Make them feel important, but kids tend to want to hang around friends as they get older, so don't try to hold them back.
