relax you are here just for 4 days you have to answer more and just be yourself and you will find yourself getting best answers, voting for yourself in an answer is not a sin BTW :D

It is actually a very easy thing to do-all you have to do is figure out the best answer and give it. If your answers don't answer the question or are not meant seriously on serious questions then you will probably never get one.

You shouldn't really strive to get a 'best answer'. People are very fickle on Yahoo answers and it mainly luck as to whether you answer is voted the best. I just got a 'best answer' to something I answered 3 months ago.
You need to be patient and bear in mind that your answer might actually be the best but it is not always selected.

That's just plain stupid. Even for 2 points.
Say what you think is right. Give them ideas out of the ordinary. Just say what you want to say.

Answer what you feel you have to say, answer their question (don't go of bla-bing about your day though...) and you'll be given the "Best Answer".

Don't worry about it. I reply because I hope I can help someone. Sometimes I do because it's a fun question. I don't worry about having my answer chosen as best and I have given 13 so far. Don't worry if your sincere or witty you will get one eventually.Relax have fun.

Find a question about a subject you are really interested in and answer it with passion and feeling and some good links to good websites, etc!!! Yes, you will! Think positive! Being funny doesn't hurt either!
