Or do you think that what matters is the spirits of the letter and not how old the sender is?

Hun I wish I was 36 again. I was writing fan letters at that age but I won't tell you who I sent them too cos you'll laugh at me. Come to think of it, even I have to smile about it now.

Can you imagine how painful it must be NOT to know who your father is? Give the guy a chance. If only for the sake of his medical background. This haunts some people every day of their lives....heritage, intellect, looks, medical history, all very important. Maybe he just found out about you. I feel his pain, although I have never gone through this. Also, it must be frustrating to you, but if you fathered a child, wouldn't you want to know? Someone once told me what would you do if a woman were pregnant, was really poor, lived in absolute conditions of poverty with no hope of anything better, (plus some other things I can;t remember) do you think this child should be aborted? If your answer was yes, well then, Beethoven would never have been born. This kid may have something to offer the world and you may be part of it.

spirit is all that matters. Besides, 36 isn't old AT ALL (and this is coming from a 16 year old)!

I don't think age matters--if you're a fan of somebody you can write a letter and tell them.

Okay, what has age got to do with it? As an mature person,I don't see what the problem is with getting older(especially when you consider the alternative) with age(if you wok it right)comes wisdom, experiance, a viewpoint, and, hopefully a tolerance for those youngsters who wouldn't understand any of these prescious virtues if they jumped up and bit them in their tight little teenaged backsides:-)

It doesn't matter what age the person is! At least I don't think so and the person who gets writtent to doesn't mind either I'm sure. I bet they get tons of letters even from older people than you.

The concerns we had with our mom is that she was still chasing bands and she is over 50 years old.
Some fan mail would have been good enough but she is willing to get arrested just to spend a few moments with her favorite music group.

No. Many celebrities have fans of all ages. Fandom shouldn't be limited by age.
