I'm not sure if i would go all out to kill..

But I would do anything to stop me or my family being killed..so if the result was the death of my assailant then that would be an unfortunate consequence..

At times of war (either killing your enemy in order to protect yourself or when a near death compadre asks for it). Others of what I think are based on situations when oppression is at hand.

to protect my partner & children, definatley. I don't know how I would feel if it was a stranger I could protect...I suspect I would wade in, and not think about the consequences, but thankfully I have never been in that situation, hope I never have to.

Really! Not even to protect a friend, relative, or other innocent person? You should take a long, hard look at your basic values.

i could no longer think of myself killing yet another man or woman because of the fact in basic terms God has the best to take a existence. yet i think that God could take the existence of terrible undesirable people who reason suffering to others, except such terrible monsters are used with the help of God to instruct nicely-intentioned yet obdurate people a lesson.
