i dont really remember it, but my mum reminds me every xmas bout it. fink i woz bout 3 wen i met him, well, visited one lol. my reaction, i screamed the place down!!! it hated it! but i did have a phobia of beards wen i was younger, how weird lol. so i dont think the fact that he had a big white beard helped along with his gareish big red suit! quite scary if u think about it.

I don't remember but in the photo I was about 1 and I seemed to be OK with it. Both of my children hate the idea of visiting Santa. My oldest would sit next to Santa but not on his lap and my youngest will go nowhere near him.

I think I was about 4 years old when I saw a live Santa and I was amazed by his presence and was so excited to sit on his lap.

My first recollection of Santa was when I was about 3 or 4. He smelled like stale cigarettes and had really bad breath....I cried!! LOL!

John Lennon - Happy Xmas (War Is Over)

Happy Xmas

So this is Christmas
And what have you done
Another year over
And a new one just begun
And so this is Christmas
I hope you'll have fun
The near and the dear one
The old and the young

A very Merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear

And, so this is Christmas
For weak and for strong
For rich and the poor ones
The world is so wrong
And so happy Christmas
For black and for white
For yellow and red ones
Let's stop all the fight

A very Merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear

And so this is Christmas
And what have we done
Another year over
A new one just begun
And, so happy Christmas
We hope you have fun
The near and the dear one
The old and the young

A very Merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear
War is over, if you want it
War is over, now

Happy Christmas

I remember being embarrassed by Santa.

Walking by his setup in tthe local mall, I'd try to stay as far away from him as possible. I would try to not be noticed. It was bad if he waved at me, and even worse if I had to go talk to him.

Maybe I was just shy.
