I found him alone in the alley last night, and felt he needed a good home. When a mugger followed me back from the tavern, the brick lunged at him, knocking him out. Now he's on the edge of my bed, looking more happy than any other brick I've seen. But what to call him?

So, he was hiding in an alley? He lunged at a mugger? Name him Jack, "Jack the Bricker" I'll bet he seems to be the strong silent type, but watch out! It sounds like when pressed or cornered he can turn violent. Does he seem cold? Bricks may seem like good pets, but be aware they often become difficult to deal with. They lay around the house and have very hard attitudes. If their friends start hanging around you could find yourself walled off from your own life. All I'm saying is don't let this brick become a dead weight. It's ok to have a brick, but remember to keep your own life going too. Many bricks can seem innocent and sincere, but believe me they may have been laid more times than Paris Hilton. Go slow with this one.

Mister Jim.
And I cannot emphasize the MISTER bit strongly enough.
A brick like that obviously deserves respect and gratitude ?.

Go build him a brickhouse, quick !.
And hang up a cheesy cuckoo clock to make him feel at home!

Is he cute and cuddly? Do you sleep with your pet brick?
I think you should call him Fluffy.

I hope you clean up after him. That's disgusting to have little brick turds around the house.

And get one of those flea collars so your house doesn't get infested.

I hope the two of you are very happy together.

Call him 'Eric The Brick'... and if he gets halved, you could call him 'Eric The Half Brick'... take it away 'Eric The Orchestra Leader'! ♫♪♪♫♫♪♫♪
