It's natural. Our handwriting, our speech, our actions reflect our mood. This is due to chemicals in the body. Moods need attention, so your body doesn't care much about handwriting. Processes like nutrition take a back seat. Have you ever noticed how little people in a bad mood eat? And we stuff ourselves to bursting when we feel elated. Same with handwriting.

It's just that your body cares about the mood before ordinary processes.

Same thing happens when you're stressed out.

I am wondering if it has to do with what our focus is at the time and whether we are using the left or right hemisphere of our brain. I find your question interesting and have thought of this myself.
