The Robber Barons became rich while building a nation. The inside traders are becoming rich while tearing one down. No comparison. The traders are the real evil. Both are of course motivated by greed, but the barons left behind things like a vast network of railroads and all of the benefits that brought. The traders only take and leave rubble in their wake. They are not builders in any since of the word, they are theives that have taken little old ladies pension funds and the food from babies mouths. With their ill gotten funds they have stockpiled it in offshore banks. I think it is time to reinstitute public hangings.

The current subprime scandal rates right up there. The media today just does a better job of hiding the real villains. But somebody got filthy rich during this scandal that threatens to bring down the entire economic system. Hedge fund managers are one such group and banking executives are another. But the names of these criminals are largely absent from discussion.

Insider trading is just theft without any fringe benefits. At least the robber barons put people to work.

I'm with Darth Mall on this one.
Astor was an uncouth devil to boot who went about in high society slovenly dressed and spat tobacco every where, even was reported to draw on walls with his "Chaw".

confident.. i've got been suffering to nod off on time presently.. it quite is by fact the aspects is undesirable back, oftentimes, if i decide for a run..
