I walk on the treadmill at least 45 mins a day and vary the incline all the way up to 12. In the summer I'll walk in the park for an hour or more with the dog. I also do an hour of Kundalini yoga which is fantastic. I was doing other types of yoga but this is incredible for core strength!

I'm a senior citizen. Agree with all positive and practical answers above. Also keep happy. Health is closely linked to the mind. Don't dwell on old grudges; it'll do you more harm that the person you have a grudge on. And keep mixing with younger people never referring back to 'the good old days'.
They weren't really that good- we just knew no better. Those are my mental answers to keeping well. Oh yes, don't whinge. (Cheers from an 'old git'.)

I start each day with at least 30 minutes of stretches, and walk to work and everywhere else I go. As a teacher, I'm on my feet all day, and walk around the building as quickly as I can. I race up and down the stairs in my home. I eat healthy. And the latest thing I've taken up is supposedly VERY good for losing inches - hula hooping! Check out hooping.com to see videos and find merchandise. It's tons of fun. The hoops you get in toy stores don't work very well for me, but a friend made me one that is heavier and incredibly easy to keep going. I could do it for hours!

I try to eat a healthy diet, but mainly, keeping up with my 5 year old keeps me in shape. My doctor said she's done wonders for my health. I sure had more energy with my older kids 35+ years ago, though! LOL

Doesnt take a lot to maintain MY shape actually.

Lots of sitting around on the computer, watching Foxtel, eating cakes, lollies, biscuits, fries and generally veging out.

Think of a figure 8 and you have MY shape!!!! LOL

Go on laugh, you know you want too!!!

I'm in fairly good shape - I watch what I eat, and walk a few kilometres most days. I'm very conscious of staying in good shape - both my parents died of heart disease, so I'm trying to avoid going down the same path.
