Where are you and how much is expected? I am in northern VT and we have a 'noreaster coming. The snow is supposed to start tonight and continue on thru Monday. We are expecting 2+ feet of the white stuff.

Sounds fun, we have some coming (In Chicago) but only going to see an inch, MAYBE 2. The past few years have sucked for the white stuff. Granted we all hate it, well, we hate it in small amounts, but now monster amounts... that is the fun stuff. Anyways, I think it has been at least 8-9 years since we had a significant snow fall in the city (over 4 inches). Lake does weird things, just a few miles north and south and west they might get a foot, and we have a light dusting. Anyways, I am hoping we have a good snowfall year. We use to get a lot more, you can almost feel that global warming moving along haha. However, yep, it is snowing now, but only have about a 1/8th possibly a 1/4" on the ground, not sure how long it has been going on for.

I live in No. California, and we are supposed to be getting rain all next week starting Monday. Snow in the Sierra's, so I would say based on that the the following week all you back in Central and Eastern US will be getting hit with a lot of snow.
The temps right now are chilly here, at least for Calif. it's been in the low 30's overnight and in the mid to high 40's to 50's during the day.

Yes, we have already had over a foot here in the first storm of 2 days ago in Massachusetts. We too are expecting a humdinger of a 'noreaster. I imagine the snow shovel and I will be having a steady date. Looked at your profile and loved the little goats. They look like my Tog's that we also had when my sons were younger... Fun critters!

We are in Richmond, Va. Suppose to get 1 to 2 inches of rain around here. About 50 miles west and north, will see some snow and sleet. We had a surprise snow fall of less than a 1/4 inch about 2 weeks ago. It stuck to the grass and leaves. It had melted by the time the snow stopped falling. It was pretty while it lasted. I don't envy you the Nor-Easter, in the New England Area. We've had our share of those around the river cottage. They can destroy a beach, homes and trees. Good luck to you and stay warm.

Yeah I am in Kc KS, we had the same storm last week, but it was all ice. Now we are suppose to get 3-6 inches of snow but yet again they missed and I will be really surprised if we get 2. Snow is great-i love the snow, but we rarely get very much at once. Ice is anther story.

I am in Oklahoma, we have not even gotten over the ICE STORM and now here comes the snow. Right now they say that it is going to be 1-3 inches but who knows. We still don't even need an inch on top of what we have going on right now. I know a lot of my friends still don't have their power back on yet. There is going to be more limbs falling again now when it snows and more damage will be done.

I am in the Lakes Region/White Mt area of NH. We are expecting the same storm as you. I don't mind the snow but I don't like it if we loose power. I also have to finish some Christmas shopping but it doesn't look like it will be on Sun. or Mon. I think we are in for a cold, snowy winter this year.

I'm in Indiana and they tell us we'll have 12 inches by late Sunday. I hope so!!! We have 4 wheel drive, and we live in town where it's easy to walk to the store and everything else, and frankly, I'm so exhausted and unprepared for Christmas, that a snow day would be a gift!

Live in lower Michigan. Suppose to get 2 - 4 inches of snow later tonight and Sunday it's suppose to blow and drift.

Southern Vermont here -- we got ten inches on Thursday and expect more on Sunday. It took me forever to crawl home Thursday evening! As if the roads weren't bad enough, I put the windshield defroster on, so the snow would melt on the wiper blades and freeze into big ice chunks that just dragged across the windshield. I'm still not tempted to move away!
