sometimes i get a little bit of this flaky skin in my nipples. i know that flaky skin is a sign of breast cancer but its only sometimes and just a little on my nipples. i think im too young to get breast cancer, im 17. I have no other sign of breast cancer, everything seems to be normal. this has happened for years now and i guess ever since i found out about flaky skin and breast cancer, iv worried.

It doesnt itch, there is just flakiness to it sometimes, and its only little.

Anything to worry about?

I would venture to say if it only happens occassionally then its dry skin. Try using a deep moisture body wash and lotion on them to see if it improves. The material of your bra could be pulling the moisture from your skin, causing the area to dry and flake. So try some lotion first, if it continues, talk to your mom about it and see what she thinks would be best.

The best answer that you can get is from your doctor. Ask to get a mammogram done and check for breast cancer. If it is skin cancer it would look like scab but kind of under your skin because it does not have the ability to completely cure/ heal itself. Hope everything turns out for the better for you.

This sounds like it could just be dry skin but please let your mom know what's going on as well. I would also recommend checking with your doctor about this to see what they say.
