No there is no pain. Its more like spotting, but with discharge. Its really weird. I used to be on the pill but that was like a year ago. So i dont think that could be affecting.

it's nothing. that's just what your body wants to do. this usually happens when your period is trying to go off. i've made the mistake of thinking my period was over and the next day, i'm flooding, while the day before it was just a little spotting. i don't pay too much attention to it. hormones play a part in our bodies functions, so i just enjoy being a woman, drink water and stay as healthy as i can. and i also think that taking a lot of over the counter pain pills might have a lot to do with the bleeding and how much.

Any number of things. A disease called Endometriosis can cause this. As well as a few other diseases involving the uterus. Call your doctor and make an appointment. Breakthrough bleeding like that isn't normal. Your hormones could even be off. There is no simple answer we can give you, I'm sorry. Your best bet is to see a doctor to make sure nothing is wrong.

In addition to the possibility of endometriosis, other kinds of hormone imbalances such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome can cause spotting to occur. Also, sometimes infection such as with the cervix can cause spotting (have had this happen to me several times).

Because of how long this has been going on for I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be causing this.

You said you are scared. Why not put your mind at ease by going to a GYN instead of worrying? Then you will know the answer. It may not be anything serious at all. A doctor can give you an answer. If it is nothing to worry about he/she will tell you.

Is there pain accompanying it? It could very well be endometriosis. Very common, but you need to be seen. Find out more about it at the site below:
