with like bearded ladies and stuff? or is that just myth, and in the movies

they have side shows at tattoo conventions with people doing really out-there stuff.... like suspensions, branding, sewing their lips shut...this one dude did all of those at the same time....
and one dude got a mouse trap clamped onto his lower lip....
but yeah...they used to have freak shows.... heavily tattooed women, conjoined twins, overly hair men and women, insanely fat people, midgets... stuff like that.... it eventually wore out once people started understanding the genetics and sciences of those things....

I wondered that myself especially with the bearded lady .I think there as an air of truth to some of the freak show but I believe the rest is a well thought of myth.

I am not sure if they still do or not? I am sure that some circuses still have bearded ladies and other odd characters! Maybe go to a circus the next time they are in town and check it out :)

As far as I know. I have never had the pleasure of attending one, unless you count the one girl that used to like me.... long story lol.
