I think you are talking more about superstition, i.e...step on a crack, break so-and-so's back. We all limit ourselves in certain ways, whether through our observations or what's been morally imposed upon us. The question becomes, what happens if you don't die because of a certain action? Liberation or anarchy, depending on your point of view
