I've met many women online. And for the most part, things started out good.
If that avatar is your pic, I can't see why a guy WOULDN'T like you! :) Either he was on drugs, or seeing how you look. he was intimidated by it....his insecurities. You have attractive looks....just really a matter of getting to know the person inside. And if you are beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside, then it's the best of everything!

I am subscribed to a dating service that hasn't been giving perfect results but I get nibbles here and there. I have met one so far and will be meeting a second soon. I went to the karaoke bar she hangs out at with her friend the host. Originally we were going to surprise the host. Now, the host and I are going to surprise her. Hope it becomes something good.
I've never met a Y!A person yet.

Yes i have but i avoid to meet them in person because who knows if that person is real. People make id's posing that they are females but in reality it is a male and while chating theymake some kind of mistake and get caught.
If any male or female sincerely interested in each other then they will take time to know each other. There are people who are not interested in steady relationship, hence to kill time they emphasie more towards figure, colour, looks etc. Who know's the type of person you met did not find you attractive enough.

In Nov 2001 I started talking to a man on line who live only a few miles from me. I did not want to meet him or date him at all, but he kept bugging me to go out with him so we met for dinner one night. I did everything I could to make him not want to see me again, even bringing my 12 year old son on our "date". (we met in a public place, so I felt it was safe) Well to make a long story short, on Jan 25,2008 we will celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. Sometimes on line meetings work.

He wasn't completely nuts but he wouldn't leave me alone...and he lied about what he did for a living and sent me pictures of someone else...

yeah i met a couple early this year who I'd been corresponding with for a few years....what a shock i got when they turned up at my doorstep unannounced on the day of my best friends funeral looking like a pair of hillbillies (they did know about my friend)...i had to tell them to leave....not been in touch with them since...weirdo's...they were not the people i thought they would be and they constantly hounded me until i cut all contact with them..never again....
