Yes. From Los Angeles to San Francisco. I was with my friend who use a powerchair on a trip from Australia.
The bus company who was supposed to take us from the hotel to the airport told us that the hoist to load wheelchair was broken. We waited and waited but they couldn't fix it in time and sent us in a taxi - with the added snide remark that they are losing money because they have to pay for the taxi - implying that if my friend wasn't in the wheelchair in the first place then we would have been on time.
BUT I don't give a stuff! Not my problem!
But we got the next flight to San Franciso OK.
(LAX was madness!! CHAOS personified!)

I have missed a flight but not by my own doing... my plane was late arriving to the airport because of bad weather and airport congression, therefor I missed my connecting flight.

Yes and it was still there at the gate I was like 1 minute late and they would not let me on I had to wait 3 hours for the next flight! I was so glad I had my Nintendo DS and Brain Age with me or I might have gone mad!

No,because i respect the time .and i think if u didn't respect it ,it well causes many problem in any think needs u to have responsibility to do Something in time
and if u missed flight that showes u well not be a good leadrs???

Couple times. Those chairs in the airport are not made for sleeping thats for sure.
