If so, is there something you've been told you said while asleep that was embarassing or strange?

I've been known to say some strange things but nothing that got me in trouble.

Oh my gosh, you have no idea! I chatter nonstop in my sleep, some nights... I always have been a sleep-talker; it runs in the family. Fortunately I don't also sleepWALK, like my siblings do! I could tell you some really great stories about them! lol But I just talk, mostly.

Ever since my cancer, I also moan... A LOT... when I sleep anywhere other than my own bed. I don't mean like, sexy moaning (which would be embarrasing enough!) but an "I'm in so much agony and could die any second" kind of moan. I believe it has to do with the Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder I have as a result of the cancer and whatnot.

I wish I could think of a good example to tell you of the kinds of nutty things I say in my sleep, but it happens so frequently that I rarely remember after someone tells me what I said and we have a good chuckle over it. I have slept with a tape recorder by my bed a few times, and it's pretty dang hilarious/frightening!

[edit:] I did remember one experience that I had when I was on morphine during recovery from major surgery. I was sleeping in my hospital bed (in our living room, after I'd been released from the hospital), and when I fell asleep, my family was in the other room watching TV. I woke up to find them standing watching me with amused expressions on their faces, and my arms in the air. When they saw that I was awake, the began to applaud, and I asked what was going on. They said they heard me from the other room and came to see what was wrong. But apparently nothing was wrong... I was perfectly fine -- and was singing showtunes and dancing in my bed (which I believe, since my arms were still moving when I woke up)! LOL, I still get teased about that "performance". :D

I use to. But by being in a certain unit, I would have not been qualified to be in if I did. Made a conscience effort not to. That was many years ago and as far as I know, I don't. Now once in awhile, I'll have bad dreams and I'm told I make noise.

I do, all the time! I lived with a room mate once in college, and I let out a secret about her friend while I was sleeping. Fortunately it didn't end up being a big deal, but it was a pretty unnerving, embarrassing experience!

I talk in my sleep. My mother in law said she heard my husband and I talking in the middle of the night and when she went to check on us, we were both sound asleep, talking to eachother about how we were going to fix our truck,
