I have a Toshiba laptop 2 years old with a faulty screen. Is it possible to transfer the hard drive and other parts to an older Toshiba laptop. If so is it easily done.

Hard-drive and Ram are the only posibilities ... and you need to make sure that the Ram is compatible depends on how old the "Older" Toshie is ... will also depend on how "different" the older Toshie is as to whether your Windows will actually boot ... more info is needed to make a more informed suggestion ... but if I had to guess ... I'd say probably not ... Your dead Toshie is 2yrs old and the other one older still ... so I'd be looking to sell them both for what I could get for them ... and buy a new one

Hard drive-yes,going to need to do fresh windows installl in order for it to work correctly, other wise you'll just keep getting BSOD

Ram-maybe,but high possibility,Toshiba's havent really changed much, unless it brand new(less than 1 year)

Wireless card-High chances, most internal wifi cards are the same basically,hp's are running an different non-compatable one in their new laptops though.

cd/dvd drive, again possible, guess it depends on the model of toshiba's

Vid card-more than likely you have on-board for both, but if not they would probably be compatable.
