Oral can be unprotected, technically, as you can transmit some STDs orally. Unprotected sex is generally regarded as vaginal or anal sex without either a male or female condom. Some regard it as "protected" if the woman is at least taking the Pill, though the Pill does not stop disease transfer.

Ok, first I'd like the adress the issue of abortion. In some ciscumstances it is te right thing to do, and it is best for both the mother and the child. I myself had an abortion not long ago, and yes, it was the right decision for me and the baby. If I had had my baby, he would not have had a normal upbringing, I'm not fit to be a mother yet, and I don't want to put my child through it for my mistakes. Abortion is not always cruel either. The child knows no different, the brain isn't fully developed therefore it just happens. The child doesn't think about it, it just is. Secondly, no, protection doesn't always work. Yes, accidents happen, that doesn't mean that the girl/woman should have to sacrifce the rest of her life for this one mistake. Again, it's not fair on the baby or the mother. I know people say "oh just give it up for adoption." Really, it's not that simple. The thought if my child being brought up by somebody else, and him never knowing I exist is too much for me. I cannot bare the thought of him not knowing me, and me not being the one who comforts him. Selfish? Yes, but those are my feelings and nobody can change them, no matter how many times they tell me I'm a selfish *****. It's just not going to happen. Yes, I regret my abortion deeply and I hate myself unbelievably because of it, but I refuse to lt it ruin my life and take over the positive aspects. I have a bright future and I really don't want to disrupt that with an unwanted pregnancy. Edit: I have never had sex because of peer pressure. I hate it when people say that. I am strong minded enough to know right from wrong, and not to fall for the old "oh well everyone's doing it". It's bs and teens really don't have sex because of peer pressure. It's because we want to do it. Simple as that. Edit #2 : We are taught sex ed. I've been taught it since I was 11. Every 3rd month we have a health visitor come to our school and talk to us about sex, std's and all that. It's not through lack of knowledge teens have sex. A lack of sex ed really isn't the problem.

Oral sex and unprotected sex can be the same if you aren't using dental dam. You won't get pregnant with oral sex but you still can catch STD's and AIDS.

Oral sex is a sexual act. Unprotected sex is engaging in a sexual act without any protection from std's, like condoms and dental dams. (Oral condoms)

I get what your asking, and there really is no difference. Still exchange of fluids regardless, and still no safer as far as std's, so I would consider some kind of protection for real, because you nver know if that person has herpes or something worse, and you end up with it!
