Mr. Bean rocks! Rowan Atkinson created a wonderfully funny character. I'm not entirely sure if Bean has a disability other than not having much luck with every day tasks. His imagination knows no boundary. Do you notice how , no matter what happens, he always lands on his feet. I love Mr Bean! He brings smiles and laughter to more people every day.
Have a wonderful holiday season and wishing you a Mr. Bean turkey!

He has no disability.

He is a comedian in the footsteps of Charlie Chaplin and the Little Tramp.

He does not speak to draw attention to his actions.

He just adds a little Jerry Lewis to his routine to make Bean seem a bit more pathetic.

He's just what we in Britain would call 'simple'. Honestly I don't think he's supposed to have a named disability, I don't think they've thought it through in that much depth. He's just supposed to be simple. Remember this programme started back in the 80s when things were slightly less PC and it was OK to laugh at someone just for being stupid.

Clumsiness.....

Well none really. His clumsiness creates humor within the reader. He is not disabled but is never really shown to be talking or doing anything right for that matter. That's what makes it humorous.
