No, they lay eggs. The platypus is the only mammal that lays eggs instead of giving birth.

They are ovoviviparous so they do not have a belly button.

I don't think so, but one thing is for sure, they are cool little duck like creatures with a beaver like tail. They would make a great pet, but I don't think that's allowed. Yeah.
