Actually not only the girls but the boys too..respect is a two traffic and while there is respect between the two, there is a better relationship..girls should be respected, why not, one day the same women will be mothers and will teach their children to respect their fathers and mothers too.........of course respect is gained not demanded......women should act in a way that they will gain this too..........its all about being human too....women are human, they are not objects of possession or obssession....they just want to be loved........and nothing more!!!

I think most people with a job, paying their taxes, and not harming anyone else deserves respect. I totally disagree with disrespecting someone simply because they chose a job that doesn't meet some arbitrary 'standard' of decorum. I would hope the women that work at Hooters respect themselves, treat others with respect, and are deserving of respect. I have observed people (men, basically) at Hooters disrespect the women that work there, or even the women that have gone to Hooters to eat there, for no other reason than their objectification of women. They probably justify their lewd, or rude, actions because they feel the women do not deserve respect. What ill-mannered behavior not deserving of respect do you think is the result of someone disrespecting someone else? So, bottom line, I think that the women that work at Hooters, if they don't disrespect others (nor hopefully themselves), that they deserve respect.

Not only girls, but boys too deserve respect. If I don't respect someone, I cannot expect him to respect me. Can I??

The operative word in that question is "think".
I don't think about such a thing.
I just know that everyone who is respectful is deserving of some form of respect.
It all depends on the individual as to how much respect that is.

I am glad to be away from my home only for this reason. I know that all people are to respect. We have brains all of us. We have hearts too. Every human thinks and feels. This is why Thomas Jefferson wrote for America 'all men are created equal' but it is true for all people not only men but women and people of all kinds. I know that is not only men.
