People, don't give answers like "every country has good and bad points"... i know that... i am not after that kind of answer... if u can't give a better answer, don't bother answering just for 2 points!!

Unhappiest - US and Iraq - I don't think I need to explain that!
Happiest - Iceland - you never hear anything about them - things must be ok there (this is my uneducated opinion).

ammmmmmmmmmmmmmmm cant say about the happiest country......... but may be swithzerland or canada......it all depends on the people how they live their life how.......
unhappiest countries are may be those which are having wars all the time like palestine and some other countries.................... i think also some countries in africa.......which do not have all the needs......to live happy........

I would say Australia would have to be one of the happiest - such a laid back lifestyle
& the fact that i live in Australia increases the general populations happiness by about 50% : ) lol
Dont know about unhappiest . . .

Lichtenstein is a happy little country. No one picks fights with it. It is about the size of a football field and its main income comes selling postage stamps. It has got it licked. Whenever I see it in an atlas it seems to be smiling.

well generaly speaking north counties like Finland or Sweden are less happier than countries like Greece , Italy Spain ... because in such north countries the weather is really bad and dark.... Greece is sunny even when it is snowing...
There are also statistics that prove that because more people in north countries commit suicide and suffer from depression...

Happiest - Spain because people are so relaxwd and know how to enjoy life and party.
Unhappiest - any famine stricken country (take your pick) * i wouldn't want to mention any because i might offend someone. =)
