Lol, you were so expecting this kind of reaction!
However, I do think most women do actually strive for that unattainable goal though. If you notice, most women on are on diets all the time, exercising, and pretty much doing everything in their power to look "perfect." In all reality, models aren't nearly as perfect as they seem, actually models scare the hell out of me.
They always look like something off of dawn of the dead. If you don't believe, just look at a magazine some time and look at the poses they do. Then watch dawn of the dead, no joke you'll see major similarities!
However though... I don't see many men out there working their asses off to look like Kelvin Cline (sp) models...
I figure until my boyfriend gets himself some nice abs, I'm not going to run out and strive to count the bones in my body through my skin.

Wow you sure do have low standards. Many of the Hollywood actresses look great...but they have been married more times then you can count. The same goes for many of the actors. You see, there is far more then outward beauty. I would rather have someone with inner beauty any day.
I guess if I were married to one of these super models and we ran into you, I would have to put you in your place so you would not run around with your tongue hanging out of your mouth panting like a starving dog.
I thank God that most men and women are not that shallow.
Some of the best people I know were far from good looking on the outside and more to the point, Jesus was not "good looking" according to the prophet Issiah but I know no one that is more beautiful then HE.

Hmmmm....I've looked at the average American male and he is not looking so good either. Few people are born with amazing genetics like the girls from Victoria secret. They have flaws too. Nothing that a little photo shop here and there can't take care of.
You seem to have issues with women and are very superficial. Beauty comes from within and like all of us these models will grow old. That's okay! Do you look like Brad Pitt or Johnny Depp?

If women did that, they would probably be so busy dieting and what not that obsessing about beauty would take up most of their intellectual space, time, and energy. Then what would they want to do with you? ^_~
Beauty is subjective. It changes over time. The moment society convinces women to attain a certain look and they actually do, it will convince them that they need to do something else in order to sell them more product. Last I checked, the market was now teaching people to fear vertical lines on their lips.
You've bought into all of this hook line and sinker, even your sexuality depends on the market created beauty line to get your attraction flowing. Doesn't that piss you off even just a little? I mean, yer like a marrionette the the whims of rich, corporate sharks (the majority of which are men...). I'm sure they just love you. You buying into their images makes them rich and keeps you occupied so they can keep selling this **** to the masses without interference from you. ^_^
As if that weren't enough, now the market is creating fears to sell to men, including those dieting ads, upping the body sculpting commercials, next they'll be making you self conscious about your ball sweat, instead of camel toe it will be "camel lump", oh, and they now make wonder panties for men, like the wonder bra (now available in europe folks).
Have a nice day now.

Well, they can't because most Victoria's Secret models are considerably taller than the average woman. That's why those angel wings they often wear during runway shows don't overpower them. Tall women show off clothes better. That's why they are used as models instead of more petite women.

Because some can't. No matter what I did I wouldn't look like a victoria secret model unless I had surgery and I don't have thousands of dollars to look fake like them.

HA! You are going to invoke the ire of lots of nice ladies who DO try but weren't necessarily born or blessed with those Victoria Secret hot bodies and gorgeous looks. I think the success of the Victoria Secret franchise is testimony to the fact that many women DO try to look like that although you may have to get their clothes off first to discover what lurks beneath that often deceptive exterior layer (smiles).
Personally, if my woman came through the bedroom door wearing a pair of those obnoxious Victoria Secret wings I would figure Angel Gabriel was about to blow his horn, my time was up, and I'd bolt straight out the window to make as fast a retreat as I could. HA!
It's not really fair to hold all women up to that Victoria's Secret standard as these are widely considered the most gorgeous women on the planet. It also takes an INCREDIBLE amount of hard work, effort and upkeep to get to look that way so what you ask is more easily said than done. Have you tried walking in a pair of stilletto high heels lately?
But in deference to your question, I do appreiciate how some women make little to no effort to dress up, take care of themselves, or try to chose clothes that accentuate their feminine features. Maybe they just don't want to be appreciated in that way for their physical beauty (or judged for lack thereof). They are not all put on this earth merely to be eye candy for men.
But when a woman does put forth that special effort to look as sexy or as beautiful as she can, I really appreciate it...unless it goes to their head and she treats me like I'm gum under her shoe because she can have any man she wants now, looking like she's dressed to kill in an ultra-sexy way. That's too much to try to keep up with and I'd rather she go take it elsewhere because its too much aggravation just to have a pretty woman on your arm. Too many black eyes to deal with, fighting off the competition looking to steal your gal.
And as for the body type of the Victoria Secret Models, I think some are a bit too skinny for my taste. I like a woman with a lot of curves and if they're a bit too boney, I just think "that's gonna hurt" and I'm less inclined, if you know what I mean.
