My daughter's name is Sage. We picked it because of it's numerous meanings: Wise, Prophet, Green, Herb, etc.

Can someone suggest another name like it (with numerous meanings, natural) as we are expecting another baby girl in Jan 08 and have had no luck coming up with a name we like. Thanks!!!

Names Like Sage

Sage and Sera (Sera as in, "Que sera, sera - what will be, will be"... in French) maybe Serafina, and Sera for short? Also, Sara with an 'a' means princess. Sera Dawn comes to mind...it sounds peaceful and lovely..meaning: 'There will be dawn' - like a new day.. Also thinking of the names Sela,Senna (which is an herb. Best to read about it first.Maybe Senna Rose?) or Sienna which is a shade of brown. If you dont want another 'S' name, maybe you'd like Cara ( friend in Spanish),Lani ( sky in Hawaiian ) or Berry, which I think is a sweet nature name. The right name will become evident. Best wishes with your two little girls.

I also looked for a short name, because Sage and Elizabeth doesn't sound as good as, say, Sage and Faye. I think Sage and Faye sounds good:

Faye:
English~Fairy
French~ Faith

Yes. And sometimes i wish i didnt. Like for example: "Smegma" Why someone would want that as they're username...i have no idea. Possibly JUST for the fun of having others look it up? haha. I suggest others NOT to look it up, btw.xD Speaking of... Did you just make this question in hopes that someone would look up YOUR username? Because I did. And it made me giggle. Hardcore.xD

Yes. I am old and don't know a lot of the slang terms, music groups and movie stars that appeal to younger people these days. HA! I do know who the Jonas Bros are, though....
