Yes, your computer is fast. But it's useless if you don't use it for gaming.

You can multi task with the computer. It is fast but IF you are planning on playing any of todays latest games I would recommend a new video card. It has the 623Mb of shared memory for video which takes away from the 2Gb for processing purposes, I would get a video card anyway for improving performance using Vista.
It is possible for 64-bit Vista or 64-bit XP even but with Home Premium you have just 32-bit.
One other thing you might want to get is more memory. Another gig would not hurt just make sure you get what will work with your existing memory. Check that out at crucial.com.
If you ever want more processing power you could get another faster processor plus you could upgrade your memory to a faster speed. You have PC5300 which runs at 667Mhz, most people try to get PC6400 running at 800Mhz.
Overall you have a good computer just need a little bit more for my purposes which is gaming. Still better than what I have right now. As far as gaming purposes though it could be faster.
Oh, just for previous posters.... he gave a link with ALL the specs including the onboard shared memory. All specs are there that would be needed to know if it is a GOOD gaming computer.

2GB of Ram is more then suffiecient. How fast is your processor? The fact that it's 64bit doesn't say much. It could either be slow or extremely fast. Chances are, that if you're just running Vista or XP it's more then capable. If you're a gamer, then I needmore imformation on your CPU (what GHZ is it? Is it a dual core? what kind of video card do you have)
If you don't play any games then it's probably more then fast enoug for you, If you do play games or use graphics intensive programs it's probably slow. But without more specific specs it's impossible to say for sure.
Since you don't sound too tech savvy, I'd say your computer is just fine

That is a good system and it is fast, 2gig is the recommended size of ram for playing games and also to run Windows Vista effectively and it should be able to multitask without a problem.

No graphic card?
If you don't play games, yes its fast for web browisng, word editing, chatting, watching dvd, listening to music
If you wants to play 3D games, you need to add in a stand alone graphic card.
The product description is bullsh*ting about the video. Just because it shares a large amout of system memory doesn't make it great. It's too slow. System memory is too slow for real time 3d rendering.
Furthermore, that means it takes away part of your system memory for video.
Get a graphic card if you wants to play games
