i think its a very personal private moment for the couple. so id rather be proposed in private. any best way? the very moment that you never thought it'd happen but it did, just let it flow naturally.. of course in a sweet romantic unforgettable moment kind of way!

I think I'd rather have a guy propose to me in private. It would be more romantic and personal that way. Sure, there are some moments where it's really sweet to do that in public, but what if I said no? That's a lot of shame and hurt to deal with alone, let's not add other people.

I thin it really depends. If you have a gf that is kinda shy and quiet then do the private thing. If you have an outgoing wild type then do the public thing. The best way is to do it from the heart and soul hun. Good Luck.

In private. My husband proposed to me in a christmas gift. He bought me a jewelry box, and when I opened it there was a ring inside. It was just the two of us, and couldn't have been more special.

mine was Private he took me out to dinner at a great chines restaurant and i had to go to the Lady's room and when i came back there was this small box all beautifully raped i didn't know what it was until i unwrapped it ,was the biggest surprise i had no idea at all .Than night will stay with me always :0) god love him

i was proposed to in public. we where in vegas and at the top of the eiffel tower at paris paris and you can see belagio's water show from there and i was lookin around and out of the corner of my eye i see my hubby bend down so i thought he dropped somethin and wen i turned around he was on one knee holding a ring and right after he said will you marry me the water show started it was so awesome!!!
