I think this is one of those universal things that happens to everyone but no one talks about or something.
Have you ever said, "Its ok" to someone who didn't say sorry yet or have someone say "Its ok" when you didn't apologize and then its all awkward because you're not supposed to do that?
Or just me?

Usually when I say, 'it's ok', before an apology, it's a form of sarcasm that is really saying to the person they SHOULD have said, 'sorry'.

It has happened, and the person got defensive and stated that they hadn't done anything wrong in the first place so why was I giving them permission to do what they had done? It was kind of immature. I think I just shrugged it off and kept going.

i do it all the time when i answer the phone at work.. they havent said sorry or thank you and i just go ahead and say thats ok.. then i get off the phone and pause for a second and say you idiot
