since Smith is a very old and common name, a name of one of the Smith grandmothers would be great.Remember that no matter what name you choose, she is the one that not only has to live with the name, but that name will identify her for the rest of her life.Jane Ann Smith sounds regal. Samantha Sue Smith has future lawyer all over it. Patricia Lea Smith has the nuance of Grace. and Grace (insert your fist name)Smith will ensure she understands how much thought you put into naming her. Best of luck to you and your baby.

Something phonetic and reasonably unusual is Jennifer--a name that only existed in the late 70s and early 80s but has otherwise disappeared.

Veronica, Olivia, Isabelle, Angelica, or any other 3-4 syllable name. A longer name will definately spice things up more than a short name. What names do you like so far?
