Im male and straight( im sure il get some dumb comments for this question), and i hate rap and metal.. Raps boring and dull and metal to too wierd,hard and gothic...thnx alot guys

Blues and Anarcho-Punk are some of my favorites that aren't in that range, have you listened to any? Some good examples would be Stevie Ray Vaughan for Blues and the Dead Kennedys for Anarcho-Punk.
(Though I wouldn't consider those the perfect examples of the genre)
Some of Eric Johnsons music is great too, some songs to point out specifically would be Manhattan, SRV, Desert Rose, and Trademark.
And also, can't forget the Clash. White Riot and London Calling :)

Metal is the way to go. If you don't like it, how about Alternative. That's the best I can offer you since no rock or metal.
P.S. Finally, someone other than me thinks rap is boring and dull.
