Here are some things that were accomplished by Bill Clinton in his term:

1) Clinton presided over the longest period of peace-time economic expansion in American history, which included a balanced budget and a federal surplus.

2) He created the William J. Clinton Foundation to promote and address international causes, such as treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDS and global warming.

3)In August 1993, Clinton signed the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993, which passed Congress without a single Republican vote. It raised taxes on the wealthiest 1.2% of taxpayers, while cutting taxes for 15 million low-income families and making tax cuts available to 90% of small businesses. Additionally, it mandated that the budget be balanced over a number of years, through the implementation of spending restraints.

4) The Digital Millennium Copyright Act, enacted by Clinton on October 21, 1998, served as the first significant amendment to the Copyright Act since 1976. The DMCA extended the protection of intellectual property to outlaw reverse engineering of digital protection. It also provided a framework for sound recording copyright owners and recording artists to seek public performance royalties under statute, which proved to be a landmark achievement for the recording industry.

5) He ended the ethnic cleansing of Albanians in Yugoslavia and put the nation under UN control.

6) He left office with a 65% approval rating - the highest since Eisenhower.

He still does many things that are good for our country but you'll be gosh-darned to get some people to fess up to it.

During the clinton administration, 1992 - 2000, The World Trade Center was bombed, and they did nothing. The USAF dorms at Khobar towers was bombed and they did nothing. Then the USS Cole was bombed and, again they did nothing.
Don't even get me started on the lewinsky scandals. It's not pretty.
Why did THEY ignore all of the bad that THEY had done?

My point?....What good has he done, for our country or our people?...other than for themselves.

I think Aesop's fable of the Fox and the Grapes applies in a twisted way. They want their leader, Bush, to have an administration as successful as Clinton's had been. There is no way that the last 7 years measure up to Clinton's era. The only way it can is to degrade the Clinton era. They are trying hard to convince everyone that the 1990s sucked, and these are the good old days.

In terms of what? Taxation? Liberals scowl all day long about entitlements and union benefits, however just in the case of Ford Motor Company right now; if the workers are all riding on a sinking ship they can demand all day long about all the things they are entitled to. All they are doing is bringing the date of losing their job even closer. What's better; having a job or not? On the flip side, at least Clinton didn't march off into a war based on BS pretenses.

Clinton took money from China. Clinton also gave U.S. military secrets to China. That action put the U.S. at risk for a nuclear missile attack from China. Two foreigners pled guilty but for some reason they didn't go to jail. Also, China secretly helped fund Bill Clinton's legal defense. Democrat politicians don't want the public to know the real facts about the Clintons and China.

These are a few of the U.S. government's documents about Democrats, Clinton, and China. I am sure Democrat politicians don't want you to see them.

I can't believe people are saying " what good" . I know our economy was a hell of alot better when Clinton was in office and look at it now. Horrible. Maybe not too bad for the upperclass. Look at our deficit right now too, it is the highest it has been right now adding all presidencies put together!!

My family was alot better off when Clinton was in office. i can't even argue with anyone that supports Bush anymore, I think it is total ignorance. People need to open up their eyes.

Same reason they refuse to watch Farenheit 911. They would rather take the worst example and label everyone else a "liberal" even if it does not fit. But when Clinton lied nobody died.

Clinton was pretty good. Things seemed not so bad when he was in office. Yea he got some on the side but that was his private life not our business at all I'm 22 now so I was kinda young when he was office so I did not really know too much about politics and I still dont but we we not at war, gas was affordable, peole in general seemed happier. I guess almost all politicians are evil its just about finding the least evil one in the bunch.
