im looking for the title of an old song?

it was a song about either getting drafted, or dodging the draft... it was "someone's diner" i think..... the song took place around thanksgiving, any help would be great

there are 2 versions of Alice's restaurant -
one really really long - and both tell a great story

Arlo Guthrie is an awesome storyteller with his music!
