More and more spin from the guilty party -it is probably being studied by the patient and vigilant Portuguese coppers,Who although hysterically
much - maligned by the racist Brit press ,continue to investigate.
A most baffling and very sickening affair of class favouritism by the Govt and corrupt toothless media of this sceptic Isle- the world can see this objectively as an international joke - just like the assasination of an erstwhile "Princess of Tarts"
The "Great" should be deleted from the atlas when signifying Britain.
A sad and depressing affair which could hold more secrets than anything Dan Brown could invent.
Seedy ,Sleazy and Stinking to high heaven.
Viva Free speech.

If Metodo 3 knows where Madeleine is, then why wait to rescue her? And why give clues to the UK press? If the child is still alive, isn't this tantamount to signing her death warrant?
A reminder of some of the unanswered questions in the case, from the Mirror forum:
*"They've taken her"...and knowing she absolutely did not wonder off because of how the room was left:
How did Kate know that one of the other's checking on the kid's did not move Cuddle Cat to the banister or open the shutter's and immediatley assume and sound the alarm that she was kidnapped? Kidnapping is the last thing you assume or accept when your child is missing especially when you are so confident of how safe an environment you are in to leave them in the first place.
"Wondering off" is what most parents would be assuming and clinging to - denial itself would lead you away from the thought of abduction for at least a short while.
*Lunch at the Tappas Bar the day following the abduction.
This would be the last place to feel emotionally comfortable to eat at since this is where the full scale of the abduction and the alarm was sounded happened. As a mother, I would assume to be comatose or a basket case with panic, sedated for a few days by a doctor to function, knocking frantically on every door and scouring every manhole and beach in town or a million other things BUT NOT having lunch at the Tappas Bar...just strange..
The Fighting Fund and website set up way too fast since. In the early days, the hope would be she would be back at any time. Having T-shirts and wristbands is a lot of stock to produce so quickly and have on hand since the hope would be she would be returning soon. They seemed to be in for the long haul with no return of Madeleine any time soon, right off the bat. Who thinks about a Fighting Fund, anyways...wrist bands maybe, but the T-Shirts are a bit morbid.
I can understand a fund to put for the donations "offered" but to turn around and create items to sell to increase the fund seems opportunistic and not normal.
Planning events to "mark the day" missing...How did they know she would be missing so far in advance to plan a 6 month missing at just a few months..?
When Gerry lost his wallet the PRESS mentioned his cherished pictures of Madeleine were in it...He did not mention it on his blog, only the money and ID type of things. When it was returned these were also the only things he mentioned...not Madeleine's pictures.
Speaking of his blog...just strange all the way around...letting us know how fast he & Kate made it up the hill, all of the trips to the beach / lunches / time with friends or that the kids managed a haircut 2 weeks after Maddie went missing (interesting). Not once is their a heartfelt "missing Madeleine" "the guilt we feel of leaving them alone"..etc
More questionable actions:
Having PR people right off the bat.
Not taking lie detector tests after THEY offered.
Not answering every question put to them by the police. This is the first thing you do to eliminate your self as a suspect so the police can proceed with the investigation.
Refusing to answer if Gerry knew Robert Murat in one of the first interviews.
Assuming the twins were sedated, as Gerry has said, why was hair not analyzed from the beggining...before the haircuts 2 weeks after Maddie's abduction?
If the police would not release Jane Tanner's description then why did the McCann's not post it on their site early on? Why has the description changed so many times?
O'Brien's story of sick child and changing the sheets...why does the hotel say they definitley did not ask for bed sheets?
DNA - know matter how small or inconclusive, it is there! And it is not chicken carcasses or nappies from the many trips to the dump. Hard to believe a high end hotel makes you take your trash to the dump. Or that their is no roadside trash service in Portugal, but maybe. Hard to believe Kate carted around Cuddle Cat on her many rounds overseeing dead bodies as a GP.
It just seems the entirety of their actions point to guilt of something. Couple that with the Portugal police not having the expertise in this from the onset and you have the perfect scenario for a media storm and controversy...but just the simple actions from Day 1 seem to point to them...what are your thoughts?![/quote]

I saw a report yesterday from the guy from that Metodo3 who said they now knew who had kidnapped her and said they also knew where she was. He went on to say that she was "somewhere not very far from North Africa or the Iberian Peninsula". OK, they should have found her by lunchtime then seeing as they've narrowed the search area by so much!!!
Personally, I think they're clutching at straws.
Edit: JU - I think I saw the same report as you because I now recall them saying the same. I'm looking for the report on line at the mo - it was in the Metro.

Yes....
Those Spanish detectives have PROMISED to bring home Madeleine before Christmas.
If they really have that evidence they are pretty silly advertising that fact....
And.... "before Christmas" ? They would better hurry. They have only 9 days.

I gather that the news on Spanish radio suggests that Retardo3 are now saying that they know where Madeleine is and are closing in on the 'killer'.

Portuguese are saying the McCanns would be in jail if they were still in the country, for child neglect.
Money grabbers inc. are saying she will be home for Christmas, another pack of lies.
This poor child is still missing, and I,for one, would love to see her found alive and well but I seriously doubt that is going to happen.
I would love to be able to eat my words.
