Also, do you believe that quaterback without a Super Bowl title on his resume at the end of his career belongs in the Hall of Fame? Who was the other one? John Eway, was it? Does he belong in the Hall of Fame?

Yes you were thinking of Marino. Elway has two though he has been to three. Favre won against Drew Bledso's Patriots and Marino is the youngest QB to ever play in a Superbowl though he lost. Marino's stats speak for themself, he absolutely belongs in the Hall of fame.

Sure has. He defeated the New England Patriots, 35-21, in the 1997 Super Bowl. That was the first Super Bowl I ever saw, and Favre was nothing short of spectacular in that game.

Brett Favre and the Packers won Super Bowl XXXI. They beat the Patriots, led by Drew Bledsoe.

Dan Marino, despite never having won a Super Bowl, deserves to be in the Hall of Fame simply because he was one of the greatest quarterbacks to play the game, just as Fran Tarkenton, who never won a Super Bowl, deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.

Yes. They beat the New England Patriots 35-21 at the end of the 1996 season.

Elway won 2 back-to-back SBs with the Denver Broncos, beating the Packers 31-24 to end the 1997 season, and then he beat the Falcons 34-19 at the end of 1998 and got a Super Bowl XXXIII MVP to show for it.

in 1998 and in 1999 John Elway won the super bowl. he held many records and 100% deserves HOF

Brett Favre won a super bowl in 1997. He has showed with tremendous talent, style and by statistics that he also is 100% deserving of HOF

And fyi the QB's in the HOF to not win a super bowl were also the best of the best, and deserved ever bit of it. look them up.

warren moon
dan marino
fran tarkington
theres 1 other guy......

I hope this question was a joke. Both of them have won the Super Bowl. Winning the Super Bowl is not necessary to be deserving of the Hall of Fame, but it sure helps.

Yes he has.... It was Marino that never won the big one... yea he should be in HOF he had a great career. The superbowl is the hardest title to capture in sports.. That is why the teams that has won it most (Pitt, SF, DAL) Has only won it five times throughout the history of the nfl)

wow im a huge packers fan but geez u guys are actin like he won 6 or 7 super bowls instead of 1. change it to nfl championships and get rid of the brett favre part, then you've got something, but calm down. or at least wait another month and a half, then he'll have 2 rings and a hall of fame jacket pre-ordered.

Houston, we have a problem. "Earth to Larry, Earth to Larry",Larry please answer: Are you here?
I'm guessing you're talking about Dan Marino as far as QB's not having a "SB" win on their resume. My answer is Yes. I feel that he belongs in the H.O.F. That's like with Elway. Even if he hadn't won his last two years, he still would have made it into the H.O.F. Another comes to mind. Jim Kelly. Does he belong in the H.O.F.? I say yes. Even though he never won he's the only QB to take his team to 4 straight SB's........... hummm. Who else can say they did that?
