assuming everyone who reads this agrees that life is in actual fact, REAL, how did you come to that conclusion?

Try holding your breath non stop

very quickly your face will first turn red and puffy

and if you're still able to hold your breath

then your face will start to turn dark blue and just dark

and if you're still able to continue to hold your breath

You'll then drop off and die

Would that be REAL enough for you?

I make no assumptions beyond the conclusions arrived at by experience. My experience of life is real, and this experience is confirmed by those with whom I interact, therefore we live in a real universe. I can say nothing of yours, but since you are asking a question in mine you are either real or an exceptionally fine figment of my imagination.

Try stabbing yourself in the leg with a sharp instrument.

If you feel REAL pain, than you can assume that you are living. If you are living, then you can assume that life is REAL.

The fact that we define life as real makes it real. It wouldn't be real if we didn't decide as a civilization to make it that way.

"Climb the Highest Mountain," Mark Prophet, "Men in White Apparel," Ann Ree Colton, and "The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce?", Free and Wilcock, http://www.divinecosmos.com

These are examples of cogent reasoning of how one knows "what is real," beyond naive realism.

The question is so vague and open to interpretation as to be essentially meaningless.

More akin to a Rorshach test that an actual question.

It could be all in my head...but that still would leave ME real, because I realize that I'm thinking all of this is real.

Feeling that life and WE are not real can be too terrifying. Distract yourself when that happens.
