I threw it in the sink with dish soap afterward, it has soaked for a while

The washer says on it not to wash or dry ( is it safe to dry?) clothing with flammable liquid on it, because of explosions..

Is there anything to neutralize this stuff so I can wash it again?

and dry, what can I do to make it wash/dry safe again...

Cause I did spill flammable liquid on it..

also, any alternatives to washing it? I don't wana throw this article of clothing away...

WILL MY MACHINE EXPLODE? Will my dryer explode? The warning says it will! HELP ME SAVE MYSELF FROM EXPLOSIONS!

I would suggest replacing the clothes. And I would suggest not drinking Tiki Torch Fuel any more if you're just going to get wasted and spill it all over yourself. :)

Most fuels are not soluable in water. Read the abstract and the article at the link below. It discusses the necessary conditions and constraints, which, when satisfied, ensure underwater combustion along a flat surface of fuel.

It is an oil base so you will need a really good degreaser. I am not sure you will be able to get it out..your clothes may be a total loss sorry to say. Try the degreaser a few times before you finally wash in the washer..if it is still there start over with the degreaser again ( don't dry it though because that will set in the stain) And no it won't blow up..it may not smell very good though, and you want to remove it before you put it in the dryer because it will coat the drum in your dryer and smell up your other clothes.

I would keep hand washing those clothes for a while until all fluid is gone. You can buy a soaking solution.
Flammable only means near a naked flame.
Think seriously about tossing clothes or you may feel agitated at BBQ's and near fireplaces.

It is probably safe to wash it but I think you would be testing your luck throwing it in the dryer. You probably won't be able to get the stain out though there will always be something that looks like a water mark on your garment.

stupid ur clothes will not set on fire. it is in water. and when ready to dry the fuel should be off just like if you spilt lighter fluid on clothes.
